BJ Reynolds currently serves as Terra’s Chief Executive Officer. He joined Terra at its inception in 2015 as Vice President of Operations and more recently held the role of Chief Operating Officer from 2022 until Terra’s exit of its Piceance Basin position in early 2025. As Chief Operating Officer at Terra, he was responsible for oversight of drilling, completions, and facilities engineering functions and guided the successful development of 700 wells in the Piceance Basin. Mr. Reynolds came to Terra from Sanchez Energy where he was responsible for strategy development and execution of an aggressive start-up and growth plan for their Catarina Asset following acquisition from Shell E&P. Prior to his time at Sanchez, Mr. Reynolds held various roles in engineering, operations and asset development at Occidental Petroleum Corporation and Tiger Energy Services with experience in multiple US onshore basins, Central America, and Southeast Asia. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas Tech University.
